This is a semi-private group class where the instructor will review the entire process of creating art from glass on the torch (a.k.a. Flameworking, Lampworking). To begin, you will watch the instructor create a glass pendant, then you will take charge of the torch and create your own pendant as the instructor guides you step by step. You will be able to take your hand made treasure with you to show off to your family and friends. Other things to note This is a fun activity and no experience is needed.

Right off the bat we have to sign waivers and get signed in. Once were signed in we will go over a set of 8 simple rules. Then the fun starts! Getting suited up in painters coveralls, motorcycle gloves, steel toe step in booties and a paintball mask doesn't sound like a good time but the anticipation is building and you are about to get into something a little bit crazy. Once you're all dressed up in the safety gear we have a photo op session where we scream and yell and get ready to hulk smash. Once we are in the room there are a few more rules and some best practices that I really enjoy when I wreck. Then I have to leave ya but don't worry, I'm just a hand wave away. I will be watching the destruction from another room on our CCTV cameras. Once you are finished I will meet you at the door with a cold bottle of water and help you get out of the safety gear.

Beginning in the lobby of the Plaza Hotel & Casino, your guide will lead you into the main gambling floor where we have exclusive access to teach at real casino tables. Here you will approach the first gaming table of the tour – Roulette. Your guide will teach you the in’s and out’s of this classic game and introduce you to a method of play specifically developed for this tour. Next up, your guide will bring you to one of the most confusing table games – Craps. Here you’ll have a chance to roll the dice and learn about the best bets you can make with this interactive game. You’ll learn the do’s and don’ts and how not to look like a rookie at the table. You will then make your way to the most popular card game in Vegas – Blackjack. We meet behind the World Famous Arts Factory. This is a key landmark in the Arts District and the site of the monthly First Friday Street Fair. The tour returns to this location at its end and we visit a local gallery inside. From there we head to Antique Alley. We will walk through an unbelievable horde of heavily curated vintage wares for sale. Next up is one of the most colorful galleries in the Arts District: Recycled Propaganda. It has a focus on street art and irreverent activist art. Everyone on the tour gets a small bag of either stickers or buttons from the shop. Then we walk through an alleyway of actual street art murals and graffiti. It’s completely authentic, and not paid for by grants, not done with permits, it is truly feral. We learn about some of the mural history and turf battles between artists. After that we head to ReBar. This bar sells vintage goods and art from local artists. Everyone on the tour gets a bottled water and a ‘Mystery Shot’ at the bar; everyone rolls a single die and that’s the number of the drink you get from the bartender.  Then we make our way to Able Baker. This is the largest microbrewery in the Arts District, which is also now being called “Brewery Row” as over a half dozen brew pubs have opened here in the past few years. Here we will sample a pint of one of their most recognizable beers.

We will take stylized/posed portraits and candid shots of you. A lot of people miss the art district in Las Vegas because it's off the strip but it's definitely an unforgettable experience with inspiring art installations. This is also a great opportunity to get some awesome photos for your social media while exploring a hidden gem in Las Vegas. All photoshoots are private. However, if there are more than 2 people wanting to partake in the experience, let me know and I can arrange times to be longer. You will receive 50+photos from the experience and one reel delivered by the next day of the experience. All photos and video will be shot on an iPhone with a gimbal to get professional looking videos for your reel. Your Fremont Happy Hour adventure will start in front of the Plaza Hotel & Casino - the birthplace of Las Vegas. From there your guide will take you to one of the most enduring live music clubs in the city. Once inside, you will be treated to a choice of cocktail or beer while your guide shares Vegas stories from the city's origin to mid-century Mob rule to today. After finishing your first cocktail, your guide will lead you on an enlightening tour of the Fremont Street Experience. You will sightsee through the newest and oldest casinos on Fremont Street and view attractions such as the worlds largest sports book, the neon cowgirl Vegas Vickie and her counterpart Vegas Vic, a shark aquarium inside a swimming pool, and the worlds largest big screen – Viva Vision! By this time, you will be ready for your next cocktail and your guide will take you through the back alleys of Fremont to the longest running craft cocktail bar in the neighborhood - Downtown Cocktail Room. From there we will head to one of the oldest casinos in Las Vegas – El Cortez. Within the walls of the El Cortez, you will feel the history of old school Vegas and you will be treated to a beer at the vintage inspired Parlour Bar. With your drink in hand, your guide will then take you across the street to conclude your tour at one of the newer developments on Fremont Street – Downtown Container Park.
