Natural History Walk of Batu Caves
The Batu Cave is a popular tourist destination for many tourists to Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia. Not known to many are unique species of life and important past geography that has shaped Kuala Lumpur and its modern landscape. The walk starts at the Batu Cave Train station, into the Temple grounds along and up the popular stairs of the Batu Cave Complex. We would do our best to explain 440 million years of Natural history of the Kuala Lumpur Limestone, its flora and fauna seen along and that is unique to the Batu Cave and how the Limestone has shaped the Klang Valley. Of course, We will touch on the "recent" human activities of the area (Hindu Temple & Staircase) This would be a walk with lots of information about the Batu Cave hill and its significance and impact to the Klang Valley and to limestone conservation in the region. The simple walk of Batu Cave Grounds to raise awareness and knowledge of this heavily visited but poorly interpreted area. Other things to note: This is an educational walk rich in spoken interpretation I hope you like to listen :)

At least four of our foodie stops will be dine-in (rice, noodle, pastry) while the rest, we will be eating standing next to the food carts!! This Airbnb Experience will appeal to you if you are adventurous with food and willing to give everything a try :) We will also make stops at several temples and mosque in the area (subject to opening times). I’m a licensed professional tour guide. Other things to note: - Non-halal. - Cost of food and drinks tasters included in price, except for any alcoholic drinks. - Past, current and upcoming guests of mine in my Langkawi Airbnb will enjoy a discount!
