As a Japanese based craft this activity also offers a link between the mountains and sea of North Wales and the mountains and sea of Japan and a peep into Japanese culture and practice. Weaving is an important part of our Welsh heritage so by taking a short weaving class at SAORImôr you can learn more about how traditional Welsh blankets were made. A SAORI class is easy and fun. The looms are set up and ready for you to weave. Simply choose your colour and texture from the rainbow colour wall, sit at the loom and begin. No rules, no mistakes, just joy! You take your unique piece of weaving home with you. Great for groups, great for team-building! Other things to note I have complied with all recommendations for protection against Covid-19. The studio is wheelchair accessible (unfortunately not the toilet) and I have accessible equipment to enable people of all abilities to weave.
