A MUST if you are looking for Italian food (or even if you aren't!) Mama Ricotta's offers portions in family style and individual sizes + a wide selection of wines, cocktails, and beers. I would recommend going family style and trying out a bunch of items on the menu! My favorite pasta is the Penna Vodka (+Add Sausage!) and you have to try the Mama's Salad!

Best BBQ in town + they have Suffolk Punch brewing on site! Every day, they put over 1,200 pounds of premium beef, pork, and poultry over hickory coals and let them smoke for about 6 hours for ribs, 10 hours for pork shoulders and anywhere from 12 to 14 for their brisket. The atmosphere here is great, especially when it is warm outside! They also just opened Bossy Beulah's next door, a home-style chicken shack that is to die for.
Fair warning, though: when the meat’s out, it’s out.

If you just want to hang out, have a cup of coffee, have a business meeting, or share a bottle of wine - They've got you covered! They also have a full-service deli; I recommend their Chicken Torta!

If you just want to hang out, have a cup of coffee, have a business meeting, or share a bottle of wine - They've got you covered! They also have a full-service deli; I recommend their Chicken Torta!

The Whitewater Center has a wide variety of outdoor activities for all ages and skill levels. Guests can enjoy whitewater rafting and kayaking, flatwater kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, deep water solo, rock climbing, ziplines, ropes courses, and mountain biking on their 50+ mile trail system. They also feature live music, craft brews, and a full restaurant!

The BB&T Ballpark sits in the middle of Uptown Charlotte and is home to the Charlotte Knights. I may be biased, but I think this stadium has better views than any other stadium I've been to! If you walk down to the end of the street and go right on the Stewart Creek Greenway, you will be there in 2 minutes! They have free brewery tours and fresh beers made from freshly-sourced ingredients. Great atmosphere!
