Lots of vegetation such as pinon pine, juniper, manzanita, and Joshua trees, as well as beautiful rock formations. There's an area at the end of the trail with petroglyphs drawn by Native Americans.

The trail is 0.6 miles and takes about 30 minutes to hike. This is home to one of the best bouldering areas in the park. It has its own entrance in 29 Palms that does not require a park pass. It is also a popular campground.
