Upscale shopping district, on the doorstep on Hyde Park. Harrods is popular with tourists. The V and A museum is here also. From Ladbroke Grove (near my apartment) the 452 bus goes direct to Knightsbridge.

Very good shopping on a quintessentially British Street. Conran shop at the top is good. To go here, take the tube from Latimer Road to Baker Street (very quick) and its a few minutes from there. If you start at the top and finish at the bottom you can end in Selfridges / Oxford Street area.

Get an 'Oyster' card from any underground station for cheap travel. There are 3 tube stations all under 15 mins walk. Latimer Road is the closest at 10 mins. If you need the central line, use White City underground station.
