Riverbank peacefulness at Balmakewan Pod

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Balmakewan Pod lets guests unwind on the bank of the North Esk, relax in the hot tub, and enjoy an escape from hectic living. King size bed and additional sofabed allows 2 - 4 guests to stay on the idyllic riverbank in rural Aberdeenshire, yet only half a mile from the A90. Relax, pour a dram, hop in the hot tub and revel in the peace and quiet of our riverbank grass field. Spot fish, birds, and maybe even an otter. Dogs by prior agreement.

Cosy old cottage, close to Huntly train station

A quiet, end-terrace cottage in Huntly, off the main streets but in easy walking distance to the train station and town centre. The cosy living room is fitted with an efficient log burning stove, and you will find a basket of wood on your arrival. The kitchen is located at the back of the building with access to a small, enclosed garden perfect for a slow breakfast in the sun or an evening drink on the lawn. The bathroom is accessible via a stairways upstairs. We look forward to hosting you!

Farm stay at Ewe View, Aberdeenshire

Take it easy at this unique and tastefully decorated getaway on a working farm in Aberdeenshire. Located just 20 minutes drive from Aberdeen International Airport it is a highly accessible countryside location with local amenities and beautiful attractions. Explore the local area and see the seals at Newburgh beach just 2.5 miles away with adjoining golf course. On the farm there are cattle, sheep and arable crops. The grass fields surrounding Ewe View often are home to the cattle and sheep.

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Tennis court available.

Secluded chalet on a quiet family farm

The chalet is a private, secluded and rustic place with plenty parking beside it for other Airbnb guests. For the colder months there is a woodburning stove with free firewood. It is situated half way between Stonehaven (10mins) and Aberdeen (20mins), there are supermarkets nearby & many tourist attractions. Ideal for couples or families with 1 or 2 children, cot available. Dogs accommodated (max 2), £5/night. Spacious library with piano available. Level access. Breakfast NOT provided.

Fresh milk, bread and a few treats await in the welcome pack. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is lots of hot water for a relaxing bath or shower. There are books, games, fast broadband and Netflix. A short stroll takes you to your choice of two fantastic sandy beaches or in to historic Banff.

Door to the Shore - Seafront Cottages

Door to the Shore is a modern day equivalent of a Bothy made from upturned boats used by fisherfolk as housing, situated 2 meteres from the slipway into this ancient harbour in Pitullie named Craighaven harbour. It is a luxurious Eco Pod crafted in the style of an upturned boat made from Larch Wood. It has underfloor heating, , a wetroom, smart tv, wifi, surround sound, wireless phone charger and iPhone docking station, kitchenette and contains the finest in bedding and appliances.

A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
