The house in the bush

We offer our former family home in the true original spirit of Air BnB. Our house is not a hotel but we are confident it has everything you need to enjoy a true hospitable Australian experience. Situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac, this home in the bush is the perfect spot from which to enjoy local attractions such as The Territory Wildlife Park, jumping crocodile cruise, Litchfield National Park, Fogg Dam, Mary River Park and is just a two hour drive from Kakadu, or 40 minutes to Darwin.

SS Retreat

A perfect getaway in a comfortable, airconditioned 2 bedroom bungalow with its own private pontoon, balcony, kitchen, BBQ and outdoor seating area. There is endless sporting equipment, such as a dingy with an electric motor, large canoe, kayaks, SUP’s and a dartboard. The bungalow is unique as it has an extra seating area to relax and look over the lake especially on sunset. Lake Bennett is supplied with safe drinkable bore water throughout the home. A great place to unwind, relax and have fun.

Riverside Homestead

Located on the banks of Darwin River, you can forget your worries in this spacious and relaxing home set on 30 acres. Swim in the pool, watch the wildlife at the rivers edge, try to hook a million dollar Barra, visit the cows in the paddock or marvel at the amazing backdrop of clear, starlit skies in the dry and dramatic tropical storms in the wet. A great place to visit with friends or family, only 5 minutes to the local pub and shop and close to Berry Springs waterhole and nature park.

Franklin is a fully renovated 1966 Franklin Safari Caravan - retro ambience with all the modern conveniences - microwave, induction cooktop, TV & DVD, aircon. In an amazing bush camp with full use of amenities including shower/composting toilet, camp kitchen, fire pit with rustic seating and bbq . Enjoy fresh eggs from our resident chooks. Franklin lives on one of the 4 powered sites - invite your friends to camp too (Powered sites $30). Courtesy Pick-up & Drop-off-Airport & Bus Stations.

Barefoot Bungalow 23 Lake Bennett -private pontoon

Enjoy your own private pontoon and relax with 2 x day beds and 3 x dining areas. Utilise a mixture of comfortable spaces to unwind, including a deck over the water. We provide Kayaks, SUPs, Bikes and a mix of water sports toys for all year-round swimming. Wi-Fi included. Cook on the BBQ or fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and quality linen. 1 hours' drive from Darwin & 20 minutes' drive from the wonders of Batchelor and Litchfield National Park. Breathtaking views.

Private rural escape with your own pool.

Located on 5 beautiful acres, where you can enjoy your own private space. The deck is the perfect spot to watch the storms roll in or enjoy a beautiful Territory sunset. You can also hop into the pool directly from the deck. The space is all yours! Open plan lounge and kitchen, spacious bathroom and bedroom. If you have extra guests, there is a fold out couch. and we can also organise a porta-cot if you have a little one. Pets negotiable! We know you will love your stay.

'The Ringers Cottage' Rural Retreat

Enjoy the tranquility of tropical rural living in a stand-alone cottage, with a fully fenced garden, located at the front of a 5 acre property. Just off the Arnhem highway, the cottage is close to shops and is a gateway to Kakadu, popular fishing locations as well as being close to Litchfield and other attractions. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a well stocked bookshelf and lots of board games for you to enjoy. A great place for you to relax and unwind.

Country Cabin - dog friendly

Fully self contained independent cottage. Tropical front verandah looking out to natural bush. Set on 10 acres in a quiet area, secure and safe. Lounge, tv, dining area, kitchen, fridge, bedroom with queen size bed and separate bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine and tub. Pets allowed as spacious securely fenced lawned area. Dogs can be safely left in the yard if you go out. I can check on them if requested. Unfortunately internet is not reliable.

Jamily Jetty - 2 bedroom bungalow with pontoon

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful stay. Jamily Jetty offers a private pontoon with 4 canoes (2X adult, 2X kids size) and a stand up paddle board. Newley renovated, you have a fully equipped kitchen, bbq, air conditioning and use of water activities to keep the family entertained. Nespresso machine is available for the coffee lovers, BYO pods, small Starbucks pods from Woolworths are compatible. The home has wifi and a great DVD selection.

Cosy Cabin in Darwin River

Welcome to our cosy cabins in the heart of rural tranquility! A stone's throw away from the breathtaking landscapes of Litchfield National Park and Dundee Beach, Darwin River is the perfect place to explore Darwin and surrounds. Your cabin offers a king single bed, ensuite, air-conditioning, TV, bar fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Our supermarket, tavern, bistro and swimming pool are right at your fingertips. Short and long term stays are welcome.

Humpty Doo Retreat

Escape the bustle of the city and stay in our Humpty Doo home. Bring the whole family and take a dip in the massive swimming pool (which is warmed to the perfect temperature of 27 degrees). Enjoy the chirping of birds in the morning and the peace and quiet that rural Darwin brings you. If you want to head into Palmerston city it's a cruisey 20 minutes drive, or into Darwin city is just 35 minutes.
