Hemlock Camp

We call it... “Camping”. It’s this new thing - where you leave the machinations of the urban world behind and retreat to the calming surrounds of nature. (To some extent. But you still get to sleep in a comfy bed.) 1/4 mile trek. A footbridge over a winding stream, a fire-pit, a hammock, Adirondack chairs and a quiet world beneath the hemlocks will be your immediate surroundings. No electricity. No running water. You are alone - surrounded by hundreds of acres of private, wild forest.

Get away from it all when you sit by the fire under the stars and watch fireflies light up the farm fields. Our site is nestled in the foothills of Buck Mountain with sunrise to sunset vistas of the Adirondacks and Snake Mountain. Come and Enjoy our 300 acre Christmas tree farm! Located at the top of our property overlooking the tree fields and woods and pond below.Enjoy Hiking, Boating and Fishing right on the property. All very Private!! Not far from town , brewery, wineries, Waterfalls and other wonderful places to enjoy. Enjoy viewing the Stars at night and sitting by a campfire and the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place.(An All Wheel Drive or Four Wheel Drive Vehicle is recommended)

Riverside screen house

Screenhouse on the side of the West Canada Creek. Please note this is a 1000 foot walk from your vehicle unless you have a 4wd or all wheel drive vehicle. Site includes a 10 ft by 10 ft screenhouse, picnic table, and outhouse, fire pit, 2 chairs, but no bed. Have 115 acres of farm to explore along the creek, swim in the creek, bring your kayak, tube down the river, or fish for trout in the creek. Please note the river can get busy in the summer on weekends with tubers.

Glamp Richard on Pretty Hobby Farm

At the edge of a wildflower meadow with mountain views, this beautifully furnished glamping tent has a king-size water bed, sofa and private deck. Each tent has a kitchenette in the Lodge. There is a lovely Bath House. Enjoy wood-fired pizza (most but not all nights in the summer) and our wood hot tub ($25 for a private experience). 40 acres of meadows, woods, pond, streams and trails. Nightly bonfires, star gazing, a nearby lake and rafting in the Hudson River below.
