Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

Meadow Wood on the Mendocino Coast is a modern county home in a lovely meadow surrounded by redwoods. It is a serene setting 2 miles inland from the ocean, avoiding our foggy summer days. Multiple State Parks and beaches are a short drive away. There is abundant wildlife and year-round wild flowers. Nearby is excellent dining; art galleries, theater, golf, tennis, spas, kayaking, fishing, nightlife and unique shopping in Mendocino, Little River and Fort Bragg. Stay several days to enjoy it all.

It consists of the main house (cabin) with king + queen beds and guest house (studio) with king bed. Let yourself unwind in the gorgeous coastal lands of Mendocino as you're tucked away in a spacious loft apartment made for relaxation. We’ve designed a large studio space with fluffy linens, handmade textiles, and natural touches to delight you. Walking distance to the beach, sunset views, a restaurant and store--it's a perfectly-situated restful nook on the coast. If you love a clawfoot tub, this place is for you (there is a comically-short shower intended only as a backup).

Pacific Gem overlooks the ocean. Two bedroom 2-bath home just a few miles from the quaint town of Mendocino. You will see whales, birds, and incredible sunsets. There is also a separate cottage that can be rented separately or with the house. Found under Albion, CA. "Quaint Ocean Cottage". The 11% county tax is included in the nightly rates. A separate owner Rental Agreement is required. Maximum of 2 dogs allowed with a non-refundable pet fee of $50.00

Note: bear, fox, hawks, quail, bats, lizards, banana slugs, bobcat, spiders are part of the forest ecosystem and may occasionally visit the vicinity.

If you're looking for an experience with your stay, this is it. The Blue barn is over 100 yrs old, built entirely of old growth redwood. It is situated on what we lovingly refer to as "The Farm".
