Take a break and unwind at this peaceful cabin situated close to York and Wilberfoss. A perfect place to escape with your loved ones, explore nearby villages and local walks. There are two bedrooms a bathroom including bath and shower. There’s a comfy corner sofa and large open plan living area to cook and eat together, relax and watch a movie. Take breakfast on the balcony. During the day enjoy the patio and lunch outside or lounge in the sun. The hot tub makes for a perfect evening wind down.

Railway Carriage Hideaway

A beautiful hand-renovated 1960s railway carriage, nestled in a quiet rural farm in Norton le Clay, North Yorkshire. Featuring bespoke detail throughout, our unique hideaway features a luxurious double bed with TV, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a cosy log burner. Outside, enjoy the fenced private space with a fire pit/BBQ, games and seating overlooking the iconic White Horse. Tucked behind a wildflower bank with its own track and parking, this is a peaceful spot to unwind.

The Owlery at Mill Farm

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.

Please also note that the property has slipper baths - there are no showers or shower heads (see pictures) Private area with seating and a hot tub. We are in the countryside but only 2 miles from local amenities. Pocklington is 2 miles, The beautiful city of York is 12 miles, the coast is only an hours drive.

Pocklington is approx 3 miles away and is the nearest market town for shops. Ideal location if your ready to turn off your phone, put your feet up, and chill with nature. The Caravan can also be used with Tadpole for family reunions, Birthdays or just fiends getting together.
