This quaint & private little cottage is in the Kaloko native Hawaiian forest of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Less than 15 minutes from Kona Airport & less than 15 minutes from town (6.7 miles). Not located in town. Elevation is approx. 2200 ft above sea level. Great if you are looking to experience a tropical forest. Due to severe allergies we are unable to host any animals. Not suitable for children. Must use phone navigation to locate as we are in a rural area :)

The accommodation is in a quiet and safe neighborhood with convenient parking. At a higher elevation, the area is much cooler and breezier than staying in town and you can fall comfortably asleep in our comfortable queen-sized bed, listening to the sounds of coqui frogs and waking up to the beautiful sound of birds. This detached one bedroom ohana is centrally located - just minutes from the airport, shops, restaurants and some of the best beaches on Hawai'i Island. Experience Hawaii away from the hustle and bustle of resorts and overcrowded condominiums and stay where the locals live! The designated parking space is just steps from the front door. Private, clean, and convenient.

Blissful paradise with epic view- Hale Mahana

Serenity in Kona- with epic ocean views! Wake up with the ocean waves crashing below. Hang out on the lanai with some Kona coffee from the Green Flash cafe next door. You have a front row seat for whale watching during whale season. Or, hang out and enjoy the sunsets- at times with our local manta ray! We have a queen sofa bed, and AC. Close to town- an 18 minute walk. Quiet, very little road noise here. You can rent bikes too across the street.
