‘Round the Bend Farm - private, modern cabin

Our newly built, modern cabin offers a secluded and relaxing retreat in Union, Maine. With the high ceilings, open floor plan, and many windows, guests are surrounded by natural light and forest views. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and an outdoor grill and fire pit. Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We are just 25 minutes from the Midcoast's shops, restaurants, and beaches.

Rustic Mountain View Cabin: "Bigfoot Retreat "

The cabin offers a full kitchen and 3 queen beds! It sits high up on the peak of Coon Mountain, 20 miles from Camden and Belfast in Mid-coast Maine. Facing east, it provides dramatic sun rises over the nearby mountains. This hand-crafted whimsical cabin provides a home base for exploring this endlessly interesting region. Right out the door is a trail down to the valley with marshes and ponds to explore. 2 miles away is the spring fed Lake St. George, with incredibly clean and clear water.

Welcome to Little House! This quaint cottage has been designed for luxurious comfort, with heated tile floors in the bathroom and bedroom spaces and a full kitchen. You’ll enjoy access to the gardens and blueberry barren where you are welcome to pick what’s in season to enjoy during your stay. Centrally located in Mid Coast Maine, we are the half way point between Portland and Bar Harbor. Just 20 minutes from Camden and Belfast and 25 minutes from the Common Ground fair and The Lost Kitchen.

Shared bath at studio, short walk from cabin; out-house at cabin Whether you choose to receive massage, relax in the sauna, stay in a cottage, you can decide how your retreat desires may be met. Cheerful and Serene Lake Cottage “Our Song”

Rooted in a strong connection to the area, this was newly built in 2014 for family enjoyment. Decorated with comfortable furnishings and decor to give it a wonderful feel of modern rustic Maine. Custom kitchen is well stocked and views of the lake from almost ever room. Upper level has 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom and the lower level has 2 twin beds, ping pong and walk out door to lake. The lower level is a little chilly with only a electric space heater. We welcome pets upon approval.

The Pearl of Lake Saint George

Enjoy this beautiful lakefront cottage on pristine Lake St. George with amazing sunrises. The home is year round and heated. Less than a mile from Lake St. George Brewing Company, John’s Ice Cream, and Lori’s Café, the state park and boat launch is also less than three miles away. First floor has 1 bedroom (queen bed), a full bathroom, full kitchen with all essentials, and utility room with a washer and a dryer. The second floor has a half bath and three bedrooms (king, and two queen beds).

The Adams Suite on U-pick Blueberry Farm

Our one-hundred acre farm is located in the small rural village of Washington. It is located just 2/10 of a mile from the village center where the general store, village church, library, and town offices are located. Beautiful Washington Pond boat landing is only 4/10 of a mile away. Easy commute East (30 minutes) to the coast and must see towns of Rockland, Rockport and Camden or West (30 minutes) to our capitol Augusta. One hour and forty minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Water Buffalo Farm Guest House

Relax with your whole family at the 4 bedroom guest house at Maine’s only water buffalo farm. This peaceful & spacious house is just the place to unwind, relaxing by the fire pit or sitting on the porch watching the water buffalo in the pasture. SILVER MOON, a Yurt for All Seasons

Silver Moon at The Appleton Retreat is quite private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt features a private therapeutic hot tub on the wrap around deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

The Barn

I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton, Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.
