Welcome to the Blue Water Cottage situated on beautiful Lake Huron. Located between Bayfield (10 minutes) and Grand Bend (20 minutes), you are steps away to a private beach area. If you want a relaxing and peaceful getaway, while enjoying the beautiful Lake Huron beach and it’s famous sunsets, then this is definitely the cottage for you. If you would rather be loud, noisy and just want to party, then I ask that you please look somewhere else as there are many long term residents in this area.

Just a one-min walk to the beach and a short stroll or bike ride to the village square where you can enjoy local shops and restaurants. Cozy up and enjoy family time with some arcade games & vinyl, BBQ on the patio, relax in the plug and play hot tub, watch the kids play on the playset or light the campfire and enjoy the starry nights.

Relax with the family lakeside and among the cedars at this peaceful A-frame retreat on the shoreline of Lake Huron. The door opens up into a large living room and kitchen with a 180 degree view of the lake. An 8-foot island surrounded by bar stools anchors the kitchen. Watch the famous Lake Huron sunsets while having a meal or soaking in the hot tub. Our front is a rocky beach with a fire pit. We swim here with our water shoes. The sandy beach is a 2 mins drive or a 5-10 min bike ride.

A 5 minute walk the other way and you're in beautiful downtown Bayfield, where there are shops, parks, and an amazing variety of restaurants to choose from. *Note: there is a suite in the back where I am often in and out of throughout the year- I’ll be using it and the backyard. A perfect spot to relax and unwind with all the comforts of home but the feel of a cozy cottage getaway. Sunrise Cottage is 80 steps away (yes.. we counted) from a public beach access which leads to the sandy shores of Lake Huron, where you can witness breathtaking sunsets or just enjoy a day at the beach.
