Goldcrest Lodge is a peaceful hideaway within secluded woods on the 140 acre historic estate of Wadhurst Castle. It is designed to blend in to its woodland setting, yet is bright and spacious with modern luxuries - perfect for a romantic break, a restful escape or for reconnecting with nature. The 'Old Log Cabin' with amazing views over the English channel is located on the beach, and is built around old Victorian railway carriages. An ideal cosy place to chill. In the centre there is a dining area, and a separate seating area with views over the channel. Fantastic views over the countryside. The Hive lodge is a recently and lovingly restored space which can accommodate up to 4 people for cosy, romantic and family friendly retreats. You really get the best of both worlds between the seaside and countryside The Hive is set in the grounds of Copperfield Stables.

Sunset lodge is the perfect retreat for luxury relaxation. There are many lovely walks, including the river walk to Bodiam castle. There are many eateries within walking distance and Rye, Tenterden, Camber and Hastings all a short car journey away. We are located on the edge of a small family camping park - Rother valley park- which is a family run, chilled and quiet place to be. The views and sunsets are stunning. Enjoy a drink on the balcony whilst watching the sun go down 🙂

If you fancy a day trip, you can be in London within an hour or Canterbury in 20 minutes.

The historic Leeds Castle is a 5 minute drive, many local pubs and restaurants and the south east coast is within easy reach.
