If an IPA fan we are a 5 minute walk to The Mill Whistle Brewery. The cottage has keyless entry and a choice of 2 ground level decks. The 'Outhouse' is attached to the deck and is a separate space to hangout, watch movies & use the PS4. There is everything you need at the Mermaid Cottage!

We are walking distance to Morehead City downtown waterfront with restaurants, bars, shopping, nightlife, dive shops, art galleries, charter boats, fishing and kayaking. You can walk to Shevans park or drive 5 minutes to downtown Beaufort, 5 minutes to Atlantic beach and 25 min to Cherry Point. Boat ramp access is 2 blocks away (1 min).

Virginia’s Country Cottage, a charming guest house constructed in 2020, nestled on 40 acres behind our residence.
