First of - Kathy’s Kottage offers a uniquely private, warm and inviting detached cottage. We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. We are proud of the Kottage as shown in every review over the last four years.

Sep. fenced backyard area with Priv. entry into your basemnt area that is located around the back of our main house. Parking space on prop. Dog park, walking trails. Pet fee is charged. Close to highwy, & shopping. We also have Solar panels that provide some back up for the heat/air and refrig. Entire daylight basement is separate from us upstairs with locked door. Does have couple of steps.

The Atomic Cowboy Suite

Fantastic one bedroom apartment with full bath and kitchen located Downtown Ottawa Kansas on the Prairie Spirit Trail. There is only one bed in the apartment but plenty of space for sleeping bags. Just let us know how many are coming. We are in the process of redecorating this little mid century gem into a 50’s western theme. Please bear with us for the mix mash of styles while we finish up. Lots of Antique Shopping within walking distance. Walk to dinner and enjoy this victorian city.

Walking distance to downtown. Near football stadium. Beautiful view of garden. Scenic area and view of town. We do allow pets, but there is an extra charge, depending on length of stay, how many animals, etc. Please let me know right away, if you are bringing an animal, and we can discuss details.

The Hickory House

Quaint vintage, eclectic bungalow on brick street with private parking. Wifi, comfortable common spaces, a stocked kitchen, quality beds & linens. Home is situated only blocks from Ottawa University and downtown. University parents can easily walk to campus, downtown restaurants and shopping, and City Park. This was once my grandmothers home. The vintage décor leans towards " eclectic". The house has refinished floors, all new paint, plumbing, electrical and HVAC. No pets allowed.

Heartland Ranch is a short distance south of Topeka, We offer a unique quiet/private country stay. The lodging is a cowboy bunkhouse with "down-home comfort" casual country setting. We invite anyone who is "cowboy curious". This is not a "Disney" experience... frankly the farm "stay" isn't for everyone! Occupancy limited to online reservation.
