Brae Cottage overlooks Whitehead, Islandmagee and Belfast Lough on the Causeway Costal Route and is 16 miles from Belfast. It is an ideal location to explore NI and provides guests with a quiet semi-rural location and yet is convenient to Whitehead where you will find local shops and cafes and also a train station with links to Belfast. Millar's Bar has been serving locals and welcoming tourists since 1754. The Little Birdhouse

Graded 5 Star by Tourism NI, our tiny cottage dates from the 1700s. Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. The cottage has recently been renovated but retains its historic charm. The furnishings are a mix of antique, vintage and second-hand finds that come together to create a cosy, relaxed, eclectic vibe that's stylish and reflects our commitment to recycle and re-use.

Sergeants House

The Sergeants house is part of a former police station built in 1901 that has been renovated complete with all you require to enjoy a relaxing stay in the centre of a conservation area. With beautiful scenic walks to Blackhead lighthouse and the White Harbour and only a short drive to the world famous Gobbins cliff path and Islandmagee peninsula your stress will disappear. Only a short walk from the train station and many eateries with the benefit of free parking across the road.
