The chill breeze in the fields and the soothing sounds of nature invite you to unwind and forget about everyday life. A healthy, homemade breakfast is included in the price.

Welcome to Joglo Gumuk, our small retreat space in the village Gendeng, surrounded by tropical gardens and overlooking the rice fields, just 8 km south of Yogyakarta. At the heart of Joglo Gumuk are two traditional Javanese wooden houses, each with its own character, and a movement studio where we host yoga, movement classes and small retreats. More than a place to stay, we hope to offer a place to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience everyday village life.
