Everything you need for a relaxing mountain vacation is here. Our property is located just east of Hendersonville surrounded by horse farms and orchards. Summer and fall are great times to pick apples, blackberries and other fruit. For wine lovers, there are six wineries in our area offering tastings, music and great food. Many of these locations are with 10-15 minutes of the cabin. Local breweries offer craft beer and live music. The shared fire pit is available to enjoy your favorite beverage.

This unique place has a style all its own designed to emulate a Ranger Retreat /fire tower. The cabin has a commanding view of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls/Gorge. The cabin was built out of 100+year old reclaimed materials with 15 foot vaulted ceilings on the main floor. With poplar bark walls, incredible lighting, hand cut slate floors your stay is guaranteed to be enchanting. Sit in the hot tub and look at a waterfall while listening to another waterfall behind you and river below you

1850’s Settlers Cabin

The Settlers cabin is located 21 miles from Asheville and 12 miles from Chimney Rock State Park. It is located on 9 acres of private property with Mountain View’s all around. A very private setting with a .5 mile concrete paved driveway, one lane. A great way to get your morning or evening walk in. Apple orchards and nature all around. Wifi Hi speed 370+ &Jacuzzi tub. The bedroom is located in the loft a common area with a queen size and a full size bed both accessible from the stairs.

The Cove Camping Cottage

Stream-side micro-Cottage, heated, private deck, a futon bed, microwave, mini-fridge, screened-in porch, and picnic area with propane grill. Indoor restroom nearby - 120 paces from the Cottage. Shower facility located about 200 paces from cottage. The Stream Retreat Center is located 7 miles from Hendersonville and 30 miles from Asheville, NC. We have roughly 7 acres of beautiful North Carolina mountain and meadow land in which to roam and discover your unique place of solitude and reflection.

Historic Glenna Cabin in the Florence Preserve

Make lasting memories at this beautifully restored, cozy cabin beside the Florence Nature Preserve. This 100 year old gem, newly renovated and full of charm, is named after Glenna Florence, whose family donated the 600 acres that became the Preserve. Step outside to hike the trails or settle into the hot tub or by the fireplace. There is a large private deck behind the cabin with a dining set, gas grill, and 2 lounge chairs. A large Ingles grocery store and several restaurants are open nearby. Our private lake is open and as pretty as ever.
