The cottage is very welcoming, with a long driveway. The area is well known to tourism thanks to Lake Superior’s natural beauty. There are many trails nearby for hiking and fishing. This newly renovated bungalow is centrally located, close to all amenities, and just a few minutes from Highway 17. The space is cheerful, tidy, and has been carefully designed with the Canadian north in mind. You'll find a cozy and quiet atmosphere, stocked with all the necessities (ie. towels, soap, coffee, TV etc). Enjoy some fresh air on the private deck in your peaceful backyard, or take a stroll through the woods at Fort Creek Conservation area, just a 5 minute walk from your front door.

Wild Rose RV Park Loft

The Loft has been a favourite place to stay for many of our guests. It's beautiful with all of the fresh wood, but also has a great view of Batchawana Bay from the large window and both decks. Across the road is a family safe, sand beach and next door is an excellent restaurant, general store and fuel. (But check first, it does close in the Fall for the winter season). Out back are trails to the wilderness that makes our area so appealing. Close by are hiking trails in Lake Superior Prov Park.

Just a short drive to 2 provincial parks, Chippewa waterfalls, Robertsons cliff, Agawa pictographs and Voyager restaurant & convenience store.

Nestled into the Algoma Mountains is our charming lodge. Our historic Algoma train Caboose is quite the experience as it's surrounded by mature spruce, birch and maple trees. Because of our unique location we are on a major flight path for northern migrating birds. We are along the sacred Goulais River, which is home to many different fish species all making their way to Lake Superior. This is some of the best fishing in the world. We also offer kayak and canoes to rent to explore the river.
