1 Gloucester Cottages is nestled in the quaint mining village of Stanton Drew in the Chew Valley, Somerset, The village is home of the prehistoric Stanton Drew stone circles, the second largest stone circle in Britain after Avebury. The cottage is great for families and couples, it has a fully equipped kitchen and is furnished through out, a king sized bed and double with all linen included. We have fast wifi, parking and an open working fireplace for those cosy nights in with a bottle of red.

A little haven away from the hustle & bustle of daily life but also a short drive away from Bath, Bristol & many other beautiful spots. Discover Bath, the Cotswolds, Avebury stone circle, Lacock, Longleat, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Stourhead, Wells and Cheddar. There is charging for Electric cars about 1 mile away at Flourish Farm Shop Farleigh Road Norton St Philip (Just off the A36). My husband is a qualified instructor and offers clay pigeon shooting. 2 night minimum requirement at weekends between 1st May and 2nd January each year.

A barn conversion located on a small dairy farm, The Engine House enjoys stunning view across the Mendip hills from your garden which has a wooden table and chairs. The Engine House will suit couples looking for a romantic hideaway. Snuggle up for a cosy evening with a log fire. Unfortunately The Engine House is not suitable for small children.

This newly refurbished property is furnished to the highest of standards. Bedrooms have Hypnos beds and mattresses with 43" 4k Ultra HD TVs. A larger 55" TV in the living room with Blu Ray DVD player. A large L-shaped sofa and further 3-seater sofa in the living area means there is plenty of room to relax.
