Welcome to Charlotte’s Place in the beautiful little town of Clarens in the Orange Free State. We have made every effort to make your time with us as comfortable as possible. During your stay you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Clarens has to offer and which is surrounded by the beautiful Maluti Mountains. Due to load shedding we have installed an inverter for your convenience as well as a tank to supply the house with water when the towns water pumps can’t pump due to load shedding

Amazing Mountain Views - Peaceful Close to Village

Wake to stunning mountain views from bed at Gentle Presence Cottages! This Cottage offers self-catering for 6 and has been lovingly decorated using a mixture of antiques and modern furnishings to make guests feel right at home. Built in the 1900’s as stables, this Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Clarens and it's thought that farmers would arrive by ox-wagon before sharing Nagmaal (Holy Communion). There are 2 Cottages on the premises, set apart and with own entrances for privacy.

HARMONY Self catering cottage.

HARMONY is located in the peaceful neighbourhood Panorama in Bethlehem. It has a kitchen, bathroom, sitting area and 2 sleeping areas. 1 Bedroom with en-suite bathroom and queen size bed. 1 loft bedroom with 2 single beds but without a bathroom. Electric blankets are available. Please note that the loft area is not safe for small children. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, cutlery ,crockery and pans. HARMONY has a private garden with braai-area and garden furniture.

Loft Room @ Craigrossie

The Loft Room@Craigrossie is a self-catering space for two on Craigrossie Game Farm, 8 km (3kms on good gravel road) outside of Clarens towards Golden Gate. The self-contained space has a loft room with views over the dams & mountains, a queen bed with 100% cotton bedding, bathroom and a kitchenette downstairs. A borehole supplies water. DSTV, WiFi, tea, coffee & kitchen essentials (spices & olive oil) are provided. Bring your own rod for catch & release trout fishing (daily rod fees apply).

Peach Trees Cottage Clarens

A beautiful cottage surrounded by peach trees and mountains - is situated in a secluded corner of Clarens, Free State, South Africa. Peach Trees offers accommodation for two people in quiet surroundings, amazing views, while being close to the village centre. The cottage has a gas hob, under counter fridge, and ample space for cooking and braaing and a wood burning fireplace. There is a desk and free WIFI for those who may need to work or connect while away from home.

Two to three kms from the centre of town, on a mountain side. It is the bottom level of a three storey house but completely private and not affected by loadshedding.
