Once the old Raleigh Bicycle shop in the historical village of Chilham, the accommodation has recently been renovated to an exceptionally high standard and is ready to welcome guests. This property is for a maximum of 2 adults with Super King bed. Generally i will be available to answer any questions and if i am not around then can be contacted on my mobile. Chilham features a beautifully preserved medieval square. Just off the Square: - Chilham Castle with its landscaped gardens & parkland - Medieval St Mary's Church - 4000-year-old Juliberrie Barrow. - Tea rooms - Woolpack Inn - White Horse Inn Other local highlights: - Local vineyard with tours - Chilham Lake (fishing) - Kings Wood & Downs - cycle & walk Chilham train station is a 10 minute walk from the property with links to Ashford International (10 mins) and the high speed line to St Pancras in London from Ashford (35 minutes). Canterbury is 10 minutes in the other direction, onward to Margate (about 25 minutes). If you have a day out in London the last trains leave London around 0015. The main bus stop in Chilham is a 4 minute walk from the property with buses to Ashford and Canterbury . If you go out in Canterbury for the evening, the last train back is around 2240 and if you are out later, taxis are available back to Chilham at a cost of around £15-£20.

The triple glazed cottage provides comfortable accommodation and is just over an hour away from SE London by car, or by train straight into Teynham station from London Victoria, (1 hr 6m). We are 10 mins walk from Teynham railway station. Faversham & Sittingbourne are 10 minutes away. We have released all availabilty through to end of December 2026

We offer a personal touch; a homely and comfortable space, where you can cook in our modern, well equipped kitchen, then dine indoors, or venture out to the sunny, enclosed garden. In the evening, stay cosy around the smart TV with Netflix, and library of DVDs or listen to music, play board games and have a leisurely look through the varied books and magazines. A short drive to the nearby seaside towns of Whitstable and Herne Bay, historical Canterbury and the glorious beaches of East Kent, it is the perfect base to explore the area. A suitable space for families, couples and groups of friends and a great location for walkers, cyclists and sightseers.

Coes Farm offers 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room which is resident in our Micro-Winery! We planted our 5 acre vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.
