Off Grid Converted Sugar Shack

This little rustic OFF GRID converted sugar shack is perfect for a quiet getaway. There are 2 solar panels that feed the lighting and water pump; limited, non-drinking water for the 2 sinks (summer only); and compostable toilet. There is no shower, no oven and no fridge. A cooler, an urn of drinking water and firewood are provided. The shack is on our 35 acre property, with our home 500ft down the lane. You will have access to our property to walk through the maple forest and wildflower meadow.

Centrally located in Renfrew, only a quick walk to main street shopping, the Renfrew Fair Grounds, and local trail systems. This ground floor, one bedroom apartment features a kitchen, separate entrance, and driveway with parking for 1 vehicle. Small two piece bathroom and small shower (similar in size to what you would find in a camping trailer) as well, all within the unit. Couch in living room also pulls out for an extra sleeping space. Self check in with keyless entry. No cleaning fee!

Steps to restaurants, movie theatre, shops, groceries, night life & much more. A short walk to the beach, & forested walking trails. Drive to Kanata in 20 min. Downtown Ottawa 40 min. No pets & no smoking please. Located on the second floors accessed by a long staircase. Cooling system present but centralized.

Private Studio, with no direct interaction with the hosts. About 15 minutes from Gatineau and 20 minutes from Ottawa by car. For an additional fee (and subject to availability), you can access the spa, sauna, and cold plunge pool. A lunchbox breakfast is included. Perfect for workers or tourists. We have 2 dogs and a cat (they do not have access to the studio). The studio is independent, yet attached to the house, and we ask visitors to maintain an appropriate noise level during their stay.

Guests enjoy being steps away from White Lake. It is a shallow bay (4-6ft) in this area. Head through the narrows for deeper water. This rustic cottage has all your basic needs to enjoy a comfortable stay. Guests comment on beautiful sunsets and sun rises if they are early birds. Try Kayaking, canoeing. Kids love the freedom of exploring in the pedal boats. We have had nice catches right off the dock cat fish, small mouth bass and kids squeal when they catch sun fish and baby perch .

Pontiac cottage on the waterfront CITQ#: 294234

This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.

My unit features cozy, comfortable country character. Arnprior is situated close to both the Nation’s Capital and the eco-touristic wonders of the upper Ottawa Valley. It is a great space for those needing a local place to stay or tourists wanting access to nature. We are steps away from activities such as walking, cycling, ATVing, skiing, snowmobiling can on the nearby Algonquin Trail. We are just 30 minutes from world class downhill skiing and whitewater rafting.

Separate entrance (via garage door closest to my front door), free parking, private (not shared), basement suite. Beautiful Arnprior! - 1 minute off highway 417 - 2 minutes walk to the mall (with grocery stores) fast food spots - No crime neighbourhood - 20 mins to Kanata (Canadian Tire Centre) - 40 mins to downtown Ottawa - 15 minutes to Mt. Pakenham - 30 mins Calabogie Peaks. Furnished with king size bed, double bed, fold out couch and 2 cots available upon request.

The Cabin

PLEASE READ! This little rustic OFF GRID cabin is perfect for that quiet getaway in nature you have been needing. If you are a lover of the outdoors, this is a location for you. Fisherman and snowmobilers welcomed. No electricity or running water. We repeat, no electricity or running water! No shower, however a rustic outhouse is available - you are fancy camping. Water jugs and firewood for the wood stove and bon fire are provided.
