Postal Lodge - our one-off wooden shack…

This is our wooden shack, hidden away in our little corner of Norfolk. Stay here and share some of the country idyll that we love. This is a peaceful, remote position, and we treasure the space, nature and peace we’re surrounded by - and hope you will too. The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. No telly. Limited WiFi. Time out, guaranteed.

Everything you need for a luxurious stay away. A one bedroom, high spec, recently refurbished "Nest" with hot tub. Private entrance leading to your south facing walled patio area, hot tub, outside dining and a Weber Gas BBQ. Lovely lounge area to sit and watch TV, use the WIFI or sit & eat in the dining area . Luxury fitted kitchen, including a dishwasher, washing machine and a Nespresso coffee machine. Separate Bedroom, comfy king size bed with an ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower.

Situated on the outskirts of the historic village of castle rising, 5 miles from Sandringham, this idyllic peaceful cottage has been lovingly restored to provide a pleasant retreat. The cottage is double glazed, with a fully functioning kitchen. There is a small garden with plenty of space for your fur baby to exercise. Nearby in the village is a friendly pub serving meals throughout the day and a delightful coffee and cake shop.

Relax and unwind in this cosy one bedroom cottage, attached to our family home in a peaceful Norfolk village. Rose Cottage is just 25 mins from the North Norfolk coast and the stunning beaches at Holkham, Wells and Brancaster; stately homes and gardens such as Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton; and several beautiful nature reserves. Or simply enjoy the local walks and country pubs! One Small, well behaved dog welcome. Please don’t allow your dog on the bed!

The property is situated roughly halfway between the town of King's Lynn and the historic medieval city of Norwich. Georgian Holt and Marriotts Way cycle path are nearby. With private parking we are perfect for a weekend away or longer stay any time of the year.

Only a few hundred yards walk to a fabulous village tea room and a great country pub both serving good food. Theres a medieval castle, a 13th Century monastery and you’re literally within touching distance of the historical Bailey Gate. It’s a short drive to Sandringham and the Norfolk coast but there’s also lovely walks right on your doorstep.
