You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. The house is located a short walk from the High street, pubs, Restaurants, Sailing Club, Yacht Club, harbour and the award winning beach. There is plenty of indoor and outside space to enjoy with on street parking. Dogs are welcome and there are some great coastal walks. There is a ferry to East Mersea and Point Clear. Plenty to do and more a short car trip away. Suitable for 4 adults and 2 children in bunk beds.

With its own beachside garden and breathtaking uninterrupted views of the wildest of Essex creeks and marshes, the cottage is only to be reached on foot atop a sea wall. The perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The last in a row of westerly facing cottages, perfect to watch the evening sun go down . From the front garden or even laying in bed, watch the tide slip in and out, the fishing boats come and go and live, for a while, in a world moving at a slower pace.

Tuck away next to the Wivenhoe woods (upper Wivenhoe), this lovely self-contained studio flat provides comfortable accommodation throughout. The studio is on a cul-de-sac, with its own entrance. It is just a short walk to the University of Essex via Wivenhoe Public pathway. The the train station is also only 15 minute walk away through the Wivenhoe trail. Ideal for 1-2 guests, but a baby or small chid is welcome (providing that you bring your own travel cot & bedding with you).

Riverside gem with a nautical past

In the heart of lower Wivenhoe on the quay, our little self-contained cottage was once part of the home of The Colne Marine and Yacht Company. Its thick brick walls and quiet and pretty disposition, defy its former role as a working yard where timber yachts were crafted and repaired, drawn up inside at high tide. Emma and Charlie welcome guests back time after time to relax and enjoy this very special place. We hope you will join them.

The Former Exchange in the heart of St Osyth

The Former Exchange is a quirky bungalow tucked away in the heart of St Osyth village. Ideal for a couple or a small family, comprising a master bedroom with ensuite, a second bedroom with single bed and a small family bathroom. This is a charming guest suite with a small kitchen, great shower, private patio, and own entrance. All brand new. Set in the delightful town of Wivenhoe, 10 minutes by bus or car to Essex University, 5 minutes to the quay and fabulous countryside. It's attached to my home but completely private. The kitchen has an air fryer and microwave. Ideal for short visits.

Kerry’s garden cabin

Welcome to my cabin, set in the garden. Access to cabin through side gate/garden. Sleeps 2 on a double bed. Attached to the house is convenient use of your own downstairs shower room/toilet & kitchen area. Cabin is also a games room so guests have use of table tennis, football table, dart board and games. Parking in road just outside house.
