Home Alone Mountain is a cozy cottage in a peaceful country setting. The house beautifully located in the small vacation community with a mountain view. Enjoy the privacy and tranquility of the 1,5 acre meadow adjacent to the state forest, take on the stroll in the woods, wander around the historic villages, take a swim in the pond, enjoy the open roads on a bicycle or visit Windham and Hunter villages. Newly restored 1840s Greek Revival cottage with new kitchen, two new bathrooms with showers (no tub) and new mechanical systems, two bedrooms, parking and vegetable and flower gardens with creek and horse pasture views. The house is furnished with 19th century antiques and decorative arts. Easily accessible to farmstands, antiquing, historic sites, restaurants and a nearby state park with an Olympic-size pool. The host lives next door, so help is available when needed, but privacy is allowed.

Nestled in the mountain, this beautiful three bedroom home has character galore, from the covered front porch to the birch log handrails leading to the loft. The views are bucolic; out the back is the Catskill Mountain range, and out the front is the Helderbergs. This is a very desirable location, only 15 minutes from Ski Windham. There are cathedral ceilings in the living room and dining room, and exposed beams in the large kitchen. The skylights and large windows bring the outside in.

Enjoy a one bedroom apartment with a private entrance. Head up the old rear staircase around the back of a quaint 100 year old farmhouse. Stairs are a little steep. There is a kitchenette with a two burner stove, sink and under counter fridge. There is one full bath with a shower stall. In the living area there is a day bed with an extra twin mattress underneath. There is wireless internet for your use as well. It is 25 minutes to ski areas.

Cabin Clack is a quiet, stream-side retreat bordering 1000 acres of wild trails in NY State Forest. The cabin is a historic hunting cabin from circa 1935. The cabin is good for a couple, solo adventurers, or families (with kids). We welcome pets, and they will love exploring the secluded forest and the freedom of our virtually traffic-free dead-end road. There is a spring fed pond you can swim in.

A fun weekend could look like - Friday: grab groceries, checkin, turn on the wood fire stove, and prep a meal in a full kitchen - Saturday: Drive for 30 mins to Explore Howes Caves and come back to a cozy fire, board games, or movie - Sunday: checkout and hike the waterfalls at E.N. Huyck Preserve (7 mins) then grab some food at The Yellow Deli (mostly cooked from scratch)
