Private cabin sitting on an island over its own lake the ideal place to stay amongst nature and unwind in 10 acres. Furniture built from locally sourced trees for a beautifully crafted, rustic finish. Swing in a hammock or egg chair and indulge in a bit of star gazing. Watch the surrounding wildlife by the log burner or gather by the fire pit. Head ito Exmoor or Dartmoor & enjoy the many walks/bike rides; surf or explore the beaches. Help feed the animals and relax, recharge & re-connect!

The Hide - cosy rural cottage

The Hide is a tranquil getaway, tucked into the corner of Lemons Farm, our 15th Century thatched farmhouse. Originally a piggery, the cob and stone building has been converted into a little cottage with a living area, kitchenette, bathroom and mezzanine sleeping area. Fall asleep under the stars and wake to the sound of birdsong. Lemons Farm is located in Atherington, a lovely village with a church, tennis court and park. Some great pubs are nearby as are the gorgeous North Devon beaches.

Swallow View, Umberleigh, North Devon

Beautiful guest house just outside Umberleigh in North Devon, in the heart of the Taw Valley. Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Valle Vue is a quite rural warm cosy place, on the end of the bungalow with is own private entrance, private off road parking right outside, A King sized bed with adjoining en-suite, & a separate WC. We are 45 minutes from the beautiful North Devon beaches as well as Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks. Driveway parking for 2 cars.
