This charming cabin features a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with a vintage oven and cooking essentials, satellite WiFi and two sleeping spaces (1 king bed and 1 full futon) – a perfect mountain getaway for a couple, small family, or friends. Sip your coffee on the balcony of your Cottage and relax in the peaceful energy of the pond, pastureland, the mountains, and the sunset. We have hiking, biking & riding trails and 10 holes of Disc Golf to play. Visit Success Lake or Tule River or Casino. We also have 2 other rental units (Private Suite & Ranch House) for friends/family.

Hello and welcome to Bluebird Cottage. We are located 1 mile up a dirt road in the Isabella Highlands overlooking Lake Isabella. Our road is bumpy in and steep in areas, but we have never had a guest not make it up here. We are approximately a 3 hour Drive to Sequoia National Park. We are a 2 hour drive from Death Valley National Park. We are a 4 hour drive from Yosemite. We are 3 hr drive from Los Angeles. Bluebird Cottage is a cozy tiny home with a private outdoor space. Incredible views!

We are in between Sequoia Forest (east) and Sequoia Park (north), with about an hour drive to each. We love to host remote workers/traveling health care providers.

A little gas log stove compliments the Nest central heating, keeping it toasty even as the snow piles high. We are on a 1/2 acre with a lovely meadow just steps from the back porch. A wood burning hot tub next to the fire ring provides a relaxing soak. We are Ponderosa- the sweetest secret in California. Cert #490

But- while you're here, a couple musts are: fishing the Tule River, hiking Dome Rock, the Needles Trail, and playing a game of pool with the locals at the Tavern down the road. Another must is seeing the Giant Sequoias at the Trail of 100 Giants. We are not near the National Parks.
