An easy 10 minutes from the town of Golden, our completely unique, elegant, extremely romantic, custom built, all season yurt and modern shower house Note: There is a new build happening on the rural property beside us for summer 2026. Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and cozy robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Nelson’s two iconic roasters Oso Negro and No6 Coffee Co, and tea from Nelson’s Virtue Tea.

Wild Wood Cabins: Deer Crossing (private Hot Tub)

This bright one bedroom cabin holds a rustic charm set in a forested area, located just out of the town of Golden, BC. As the smallest of all the Wild Wood Cabins, the layout of Deer Crossing is cozy and compact, perfect for two guests. There is an open concept bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed and washroom. Downstairs has the kitchen and living area sharing one open space. A pull-out-couch is included for an extra guest. Two covered decks also allow for more enjoyable times outdoors.

Cougar Crossing Cabin

Welcome to this private, pint-sized adventure retreat in the forest! Kick back on the deck or around the campfire, cook in the outdoor kitchen and end the day in a plush king size bed. Includes wood burning stove for chilly days, simple kitchen appliances, mini fridge, games and wi-fi (because, life). Bathroom is a separate building with a composting toilet (no shower). Note: this is a hike-in site 400 feet (5 min walk) uphill from the parking spot. Message for discount on 3+ night stays.

With only 2 cabins, 80m apart, enjoy your own little world. Or vacation with friends, host a wedding or family reunion! If renting both cabins, we allow RV's/tents with your party for a small fee.

This 1971 Airstream has been totally rebuilt into a super comfortable and memorable escape. It's a great couple's vacation, completely private on its own acre of land. There's a separate indoor heated bathroom and shower, plus an outdoor hot water shower and vintage bathtub built for two.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
