Rosie's Studio

Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Relax in this quiet pastoral setting and enjoy the sweep of the ocean out to volcanic Mount Baker. We welcome families with children and pets. Update: Emily the duck has passed.

The Cedar Nook

We are located in Sooke, British Columbia. Gateway to storm watching, surfing, beach exploring, hiking, biking, camping, relaxing with the sound of waves. Our place is close to the town of Sooke yet surrounded by farms, a short drive to beaches, located on a peaceful, forested 2 acres. We will be on hand if our guests need directions to one of Sooke's brewpubs, hiking trails, how to find a secret beach or which local lake is prime for swimming. Check-in time 4-7 pm, check-out before 11 am.

A stay at the Granary comes with a tour of the Keating farm if you choose! Our guests have loved learning about the history and future of the farm. The cabin is designed for a cozy place to unwind, relax and be your Cowichan home base. Visit the farm-to-table restaurant by day (Friday-Sunday from Mar-Sept.) or stargaze at night. Watch the farmers tend the vegetables while you cook up a meal in the spacious open kitchen. Biking and hiking trails and swimming within minutes. Family friendly! Vineyards close by, too. Hot yoga classes available on the farm, too.
