A FREE Welcome basket with biscuits, tea coffee, milk, cereals and other treats await all our guests in the apartment. Guests have their own key so you can come and go as you please with no disturbance to anyone.

TOTAL REFURBISHMENT MAY 2025 with new kitchenette, flooring, carpet, wood panelling. Separate from the main house with security gates and 24 hour CCTV, providing parking, an outdoor seating area and views over the paddock of sheep and free range chickens. Upton is a small village, two miles from Southwell, with country walks and a local pub serving freshly prepared food.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Available for single night stays. Discounts on 3+ nights bookings.

Master bedroom (double) with en-suite wet room, single bedroom, separate shower room/wc, fully equipped kitchen/living room. Under floor heating, wi-fi, Cable TV with Movie & Sports channels. On-street parking only but directly outside the property. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, and for the protection of guests, we currently leave a minimum of 24 hours between bookings.

The Barn is a rural retreat tucked away at the end of a quiet leafy lane in Colston Bassett in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir. Ideal for families, walkers, cyclists, gastro enthusiasts or perhaps those just looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, The Barn is a brand new, hand-crafted home built by the architect owner who lives in The Old Farmhouse next door. We also welcome well behaved dogs (we just request a modest fee of £20 per dog per stay)

Sitting/dining area with table, sofa bed & second free view TV, adjoining a kitchenette, ceramic hob, sink, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, cupboards, crockery and utensils.

The Little Old Barn (TLOB) is a cosy self-contained annexe ATTACHED to our home set in the picturesque village of WOODBOROUGH, surrounded by the beautiful Nottinghamshire Countryside with excellent road links to both NOTTINGHAM & NEWARK. Belonging once to the house next door where William LEE invented the Stocking Frame in 1589. Ideally situated within minutes of the village pubs and beautiful countryside walks it is close to many local attractions & wedding venues.

Sleepover with Miniature horse Basil

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.

With walks on the farm land and surroundings, local village pubs, cycling along the Grantham canal or in the Vale of Belvoir. Nottingham city 10 miles away, Melton Mowbray 8 miles & Leicester 15 miles. Children are welcome by arrangement. Sorry no pets allowed.

Unique static boat moored on the Trent , great for fishing or just relaxing, fantastic views lots lovely walks,The boat is now ready for the winter months heating on log burner ready to go, new kitchenware very cozy ,Christmas almost upon us why not try a stay over Christmas and enjoy the boat decked out. Festive homemade treats in a small hamper including mince pies and mulled wine.
