The Lookout is a boutique mountain hideaway situated high on the hill with unrivaled panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Amazing mountain views above Gibbston' s famous winery area. High up away from the noisy road we have 5 acres of garden. Your apartment, with its own front door is attached to our home but feels very private. It is newly redecorated with an open plan kitchen, lounge, dining room. Two bedrooms both with shower ensuites , one a king bed and the other a king or 2 single beds. Enjoy our log burning fire or go outside and enjoy the outdoor brazier while sipping a local wine and stargazing.

Modern suite with river views

We offer a cosy private suite in a rural location with an ensuite and beautiful views. We live onsite with our dog & children. The suite has a bathroom with a bath, breakfast station with a table, toaster, jug and microwave (no kitchen). There's access to shared lawn however no access to the main house. Local shops and restaurants are a 5 min drive, there is no public transport close by. Downtown Queenstown is a 15 minute drive. We are usually pretty quiet and are often out and about.

Stroll to the historic Cardrona Hotel for apres ski drinks & a meal or grab a coffee from the quaint general store. Peaceful and quiet, this is the perfect place to unwind after a day on the slopes. Fully self contained with free parking, the space is comfortable, stylish and immaculately clean.

Perfect location for skiers, mountain bikers & hikers & only a few minutes’ walk to the iconic/historic Cardrona Hotel. Fantastic huge free Jacuzzi/hot tub onsite to relax & unwind after a day up the mountain. There is a local store nearby with a pizzeria & café attached.

Modern bathroom on each floor and open plan dining/living kitchen - equipped with all your needs for a comfortable stay. Enjoy breakfast with the rabbits on the patio, or bbq with the stars under the Milky Way.
