Cosy country cottage for a peaceful and relaxing stay, situated one mile from Askeaton town in the country side Ideal base for touring Limerick ,Kerry ,Cork,Galway,Tipperary and Clare regions . Cottage is 15 minutes drive to Adare, 20 minutes drive to Limerick city. Shannon airport is 40 minutes drive away . The cottage will have an extra bedroom available for the Ryder Cup 2027 . Cottage at that time will accommodate 6 people . Minimum booking at that time will be for 7 days.

The Old Schoolhouse on the Shannon Estuary

The Old Schoolhouse is a beautifully renovated house which was originally the local national school built in 1887. All rooms in the house have breath taking views of the Shannon estuary. The house has wooden floors and ceilings throughout and a balcony where guests can sit and have breakfast overlooking the river. Labasheeda is a peaceful village on the Wild Atlantic way within easy reach of Kilimer Car ferry, Loop Head, Kilkee, the Cliffs of Moher any many more beautiful sights.

12 mins walk, 3 min drive to Main Street, this converted open plan cottage is a lovely place to stay and is child and pet friendly. Excellent train and Bus service. Lots of amenities in the town. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden. Ensuite shower Double bed and a sofa. TV plays DVDs only , with a good selection of DVDs. There is no cooker in the pod but there is a Gas Plancha (Hot Plate) and a single gas ring situated in an outside cooking station next to the pod. WIFI
