We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

Enjoy a stay at our lovely modern and quirky terrace house in the Welsh Valleys. The house is in a central location for outdoor adventure lovers with plenty of hiking spots and mountain bike trails a short distance away. History buffs will find numerous interesting sites to visit nearby. If you are looking for some where peaceful to work there is a dedicated office space and wifi. The train station is a 4 minute drive up the road for an easy commute into Newport or Cardiff. Amenities nearby.

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

A spacious and comfortable house situated in the heart of the south wales valleys. A fully renovated 3 bedroom house in the centre of Beaufort that also has retained some of the features from when it used to be a local pub “ The Rising Sun” in the 1950’s What’s around us? We are located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons national park and within traveling distance of the following. Bike Park Wales Pen-y-Fan , Sugar Loaf , Skirrid Big Pit We are also located a 4min drive to the train station.

James' Place Dowlais Self Catering Studio 3 Sioni

James' Place at Dowlais features seven uniquely styled self-catering studios, perfect for exploring The Brecon Beacons, visiting Bike Park Wales, Zip World South, or working remotely. Each studio has a kitchenette and en- suite shower room. We are dog-friendly with a 22 GBP fee per stay per dog, and bikes can be securely stored in the main hall or your studio if clean. This property offers a comfortable, convenient base for all guests to enjoy their stay.

There is a smart TV and Wifi and the property is located approximately a 5 minute walk from local amenities in Tredegar.
