Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking and stunning views of the reservoir and Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with double bed upstairs and sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a run of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high, without guardrails and there is a shallow pond.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. The site is an ideal retreat for nature lovers, walkers, or those who wish to enjoy and explore the Mendips, the Somerset Levels, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and more. Mead Terrace is a recently renovated terraced cottage in the heart of the popular village of Blagdon, with views over the Lake, and amazing Mendip dog walks on the doorstep. The open plan living room has a wood burner and Smart TV. Three bedrooms sleep six, with a brand new bathroom, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine, among some of the comforts to make you feel at home. We are an ideal spot for wedding guests at Coombe Lodge, which is a 5 minute walk away.

Sweet Little Barn Annex

A private and rural location in the pretty village of Wedmore makes this the perfect location to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside and historic towns and villages in the area. Wedmore is situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels, and is close to three incredible nature reserves as well as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. This is a great place for bird watchers and wildlife lovers, with excellent opportunities for walking and cycling right from the front door!

The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

Our shepherd's hut is thickly insulated to stay cool all summer, with a fridge to keep your beers cold. Outside, a generous deck and seating area is made for bright mornings and long evenings. Gather round the fire bowl as the sun goes down to watch the stars emerge over truly dark skies. Solar-powered lighting and mains sockets, double and single bed, a fully equipped kitchen, hot water washing up just outside the door — all a ten minute stroll away from The George, an award-winning pub.

Large modern annex situated within the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fabulous views front and back to the hills and across the Somerset Levels. Great base for exploring Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells, Priddy and much more with walking trails starting at the house. Ideal Studio for quiet work, for couples on a break, and young families. Large Bathroom, balconies, studio kitchenette, king sized bed and one optional sofa bed. Parking . Continental breakfast included.
