Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Our modern Chalet sits in the Haven Resort at Seton Sands in a quiet discrete spot, very close to reception and all the amenities. There is a double bedroom with ensuite and two twin bedrooms. We have a large lounge area with comfortable seating for up to 6 people. There is free parking and a local bus service going right to the heart of Edinburgh. Passes can be purchased to use all the facilities of the Haven Resort, including swimming pools, restaurants and bars. Free wifi within the resort.

Relax in this cosy stylish studio which is an annexe to our 1880 fisherman's cottage in the quaint historic harbour village of Cockenzie, linked with Port Seton - the house is actually located on the battlefield of the Battle of Prestonpans. Five minutes walk to the harbour and local swimming cove and even closer to Cockenzie House - a thriving community hub with beautiful gardens, a cafe, vintage fairs, live music and much more. The coastal walkway John Muir Way runs through Cockenzie.

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.
