Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage, set within 5 acres of woodlands leading directly to private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends and families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. A luxurious hot tub (perfect after a hard days hike) and an outdoor wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower are available at an extra cost. Art classes & tuck shop also available.

Cosy cottage in Eskdale sleeps 4, Great views

This traditional workers cottage in Eskdale green gives you a wonderfully cosy retreat and an ideal base for exploring. The cottage is a traditional '2 up 2 down' that has been modernised sympathetically for a cosy break away. Bedding and towels provided. Heat is provided by storage heaters and the front room has a log burning stove for a super cosy stay. There is a selection of books, maps, DVD's & children's toys. There is a smart tv and new unlimited WIFI for streaming you favourite films.

One of two shepherd's huts located on our traditional working hill farm in the stunning Wasdale valley. The huts have everything you need to enjoy your stay in this beautiful part of the world. Wastwater shepherd's hut comes complete with a double bed, kitchen area with induction hob and a bathroom with shower. Perfect place to start numerous walks from the doorstep including many of the popular Wainwright hills such as Scafell Pike and Illgill Head. Easy access to the lake for kayaking etc.

There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Situated in the National Park and surrounded by fells such as Scafell Pike and Great Gable, Yewbarrow is in the heart of walking and climbing countryside. The cottage is close to the Cumbrian Coast with St Bees’ long sandy beach and RSPB nature reserve, the historic town of Whitehaven, Muncaster Castle and Ravenglass, with its narrow gauge steam railway which travels to Boot.

The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

The tranquil setting of The Spinney, above the River Cocker, with spectacular views over to Whinlatter, is an ideal location to explore the north western Lakes. Set in two acres of mature trees, gardens and river frontage, with lots of wildlife.

The Fenwick Arms gastro pub is situated a short 12minute walk away at the bottom of the homes private driveway.

Woodend Buttery

The Buttery is cosy and quirky self contained private accommodation adjoining the barn offering self catering accommodation for a couple in a double bed. There is an enclosed private "courtyard" garden but if you let your dogs roam in there please keep an eye on them. Also spectacular views of Scafell.
