Welcome to our home on Lake Blackshear! We are located in a cove at the northern tip of the lake, surrounded by trees and beautiful nature. There is 1 queen bed, one queen sleeper sofa, and 1 futon (suitable for 1-2 small kids). Its beautiful country life so come enjoy it with us! It is duckweed season! Duckweed is a harmless (annoying) green plant that thrives in still water like our cove. It floats on top of the water and is a nuisance. Please see photos for reference during this season.

Genesis House & Revelation House are also available on the same property. Hope House is nestled among pine trees in a quiet, secluded setting. There is a 3 1/2 acre pond, a walking trail, and so much more! The grounds are beautiful with trees, shrubs, and flowers. Fishing, paddle boating, cycling, and walking trails are available!

Six minutes to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, eight minutes to Albany State University and 20 minutes to Albany Marine Corps Logistics Base. Janelle’s Cottage

Janelle’s cottage is named after my Mom, Janelle Perkins. She was a public health nurse who had a great love for God and people. This is a handicap friendly home. We want you to enjoy the slower pace in Cochran Ga. This is a pet friendly home whether it’s the 4 legged kind or the feathered kind. They are welcome. We do not charge a pet fee or a cleaning fee. We are approximately 4 miles from Middle Georgia State University and approx. 30 minutes from Warner Robins.
