A fire gets lit in cooler months, and the bedroom wakes with the sun. Outside, a table sits where the light hits the vines. Blame Mabel is within reach of Geelong and Melbourne, yet the property has the calm and space of the country all to itself. There’s no television. Reception comes and goes. Nights are still.

We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes drive from historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

This 100 year old workers cottage is all about bespoke interiors The walls and shelves filled with gorgeous art work, the home has specially sourced vintage pieces scattered everywhere, the beds are filled with luxurious linens and the lounge has a 3 seater couch you may never want to get up from. Centrally located, across the road from the South Melbourne Markets, walking distance to the Albert Park Lake and a quick tram trip to the CBD. Please note- no TV, so bring devices if needed.

Guguburra Cabin

Our atmospheric cabin sits amongst the gum trees, surrounded by birdsong. Named after the Gububurras (Kookaburras) that share the property with us, it's only ten minutes walk to the Mount Macedon village for coffee or a short drive to find wineries, village markets and forest walking trails. Alternatively in the cooler months you can curl up by the fire and read or enjoy the view from the terrace by the fire pit. The calming effect of Guruburra on our guests is almost immediately
