Mill Cottage: Captivating Riverside 1 Bed Cottage

This beautiful cottage is situated in an idyllic location; listen to the gurgling river as you sit on the decking or drift off to sleep. One minute's walk away over a Victorian swing bridge is an enchanting pebble beach. Here you may see seals, dolphins, salmon, and plenty of seabirds depending on the season. Ideally placed for the North Coast 500, this modernised cottage is warm and cosy with central heating and hot water provided by a biomass boiler, and a wood burning stove for cooler nights.

The guest suite is on ground floor, double room, bathroom, large living room which includes a double sofa bed. Access to decking area with views across the beach. Tea & Coffee facilities with fridge & microwave oven. Included in your stay is fresh milk & home bakes. One well behaved dog is welcome. Pet fee will be added at time of booking.

Chalet D

Chalet D is set in the idyllic Highland setting of Heatherwood Park behind our sister property Chalet C and a three minute drive or a 25 minute coastal walk from Dornoch town centre. This will be Chalet D’s first season on the short term rental market as we’ve just freshly redecorated the property with a modern cosy feel. Perfect for any party of four, Chalet D has its own highchair, cot and dog bed so we’re prepared for any precious member of your party whether their toes be small or furry.

A 5 minute walk into Dornoch with its stylish Scottish stone buildings, Cathedral, pubs, restaurants, cafes & gorgeous independent shops. Its one mile from the stunning beach and famous Royal Dornoch golf course. The house is our personal respite holiday home away from our Scottish Highlands rewilding croft 15 miles away. The Hide - off-grid-ish woodland cabin near NC500

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Mid Nov - Mar we have a winter mode as the water can freeze.

Designed as a playful cross between a Zen tea house and Highland hunting lodge, Assich Zen Lodge is a luxury log cabin with Zen garden, created within the grounds - and using many of the stones - of an ancient ruined byre. Hillhaven Lodge

Hillhaven Lodge is an addition to the already well established Hillhaven B&B. The lodge is a luxury, purpose built wooden cabin with full facilities including a Hydrotherapy Hot Tub and wood burning stove. Located 20 minutes from Inverness and the NC500, just outside the village of Fortrose. Local attractions include dolphin watching at Chanonry point, Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club, Eathie fossils, several world famous distilleries and breweries and only 30mins from Loch Ness!

An ideal location, in one of the most scenic parts of the country, on the NC500 route. A short walk takes you into Brora which boasts a beautiful beach, lovely walks, Links golf course and a host of eateries and shops to enjoy. The Lookout is situated to make the most of the uninterrupted views towards the sea. There is a decked area and an enclosed private garden alongside for your sole use. The East Coast Village that faces West

We welcome you to our guest flat which is attached to our home in Portmahomack. We are a sand dune away from a safe beach and coastal walks where you may be lucky and see otters, seals and some of the Moray Firth dolphins.The village has a golf course with a hospitable clubhouse And a fascinating museum the TARBAT DISCOVERY CENTRE whose website is well worth a look at. The general store has a good choice of foodstuffs which you can cook in our well equipped kitchen.

The Coach House at Manse House

Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome.
