The stone cottage which is over 250 years old has been recently renovated and retains its traditional style: stone and white-washed walls, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. Outside guests have their own patio and garden area with seating

The cottage maintains many original features including the original stone floor and hearth. 12 mins walk, 3 min drive to Main Street, this converted open plan cottage is a lovely place to stay and is child and pet friendly. Excellent train and Bus service. Lots of amenities in the town. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden. Everything should be there to make the cottage home away from home. I am contactable by phone or in person if required.

Apartment over Traditional Pub in little village

Guests will be staying upstairs over a village pub so can expect some noise until closing time,no food served in bar but menus for places that deliver left in space. Bar downstairs opens at 6.00 pm during week,Sundays bar opens at 2pm. Music some Saturday nights guests will be told when they book. Irish Story and Sing Night the Last Wednesday of every month till midnight which guests are welcome to visit songs and stories and a cup of tea half way through night

Charming Cabin at the Foot of Douce Mountain

Douce Mountain cabin is a charming self contained little house situated at the foot of Douce Mountain. There is a living space with a stove and a kitchenette on the groundfloor . A ladder leads the loft with 2 beds. It is a very quiet place surrounded y nature. Our other guesthouse is about 100 metres further down . Our own farmhouse is about 500 metres away. It is ideal for someone looking for a very quiet place to relax and immerse themselves in nature.
