Welcome to this fabulous period Barn conversion available for your Summer staycation. Where you can relax in a Hot tub under the stars or light the log burner and curl up on the sofa and just chill. Enjoy the exposed stonework, oak beams and antique furniture you can relax indoors or outdoors on our Moroccan inspired patio. A gas fired BBQ or an open grill plus a fire pit weather permitting dine alfresco after a well-earned soak in the hot tub. On your doorstep several local Pubs will offer genuine local hospitality. Last but not least a great garden for your kids and pets! The Barn at the Old Golden Lion is equidistant between the Jurassic Coast and the beautiful North Devon coast North to South, & again equidistant between Dartmoor and Exmoor East to West making this the perfect location to discover the whole of beautiful Devon. Guests have independent and exclusive access to the barn and full access to the garden. We are a family of four and two dogs (chihuahua and a desert dog we brought over from Dubai) and two cats. The Barn at the Old Golden Lion sits in a quintessential Devon village with a medieval church, a pub, and a village store on your doorstep. The location is equidistant between the Jurassic Coast and the beautiful North Devon coast and between scenic Dartmoor and Exmoor. There are plenty of local walks or let us help you plan day trips to suit your tastes and preferences. Ideal location to enjoy this part of Devon or just relax in the peace and quiet of this rural gem. If you need to fly out we have two Airports close by: Bristol Airport - 56 miles and 65 minutes Exeter Airport - 16 miles and 20 minutes If you prefer to go by Train we also have two choices: Tiverton Parkway 14 minutes London Paddington 2 hrs 10 mins Honiton 20 minutes - London Waterloo 3hrs 5 mins There is a primary school next door in the village, close enough to hear some playground activity from the garden.

The Old Workshop @ Swallows is an extended single storey barn dating back to the 1880’s. It has been sympathetically renovated to bring it up to 21st century standards with electricity generated using our solar panels. Superfast fibre broadband 500mgb It is surrounded by stunning rural views and is very quiet. Sumptuous, cosy and welcoming are just a few of the words that describe this charming escape. The Old Workshop is situated within an AONB and is tucked away in the courtyard of our barns.

The Harepath Granary

A grade 2 listed 5-star converted granary. Bright and airy, with upstairs sitting room and kitchenette, with feature oak beams. Views of the historic courtyard and the Axe River valley. Downstairs is a large double bedroom, on-suite shower room, and built-in washing machine. A sunny area outside for relaxing with coffee or wine. 5 minutes drive to the beach and cliffs at Seaton, 10 minutes to the fishing village of Beer, 10 minutes to Sidmouth, and to Lyme Regis. Close to pubs and restaurants.

The Shippon. Unique luxurious South Devon getaway.

A calm, deeply luxurious space to recharge & reconnect. The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. You might just sleep better than you have in years.

The Old Dairy, with beautiful westward views.

This stylishly converted old dairy has oak and beams and flooring and has beautiful far reaching views west towards Lyme Regis . It is perfect the perfect base for exploring this part of the beautiful Jurassic-coast, browsing around the Georgian market town of Bridport, fossiling in Lyme Regis and walking in the West Dorset’s Area Of Outstanding Beauty. Relax in the evening light out in the garden area looking over the fields and woods. Picnic is in the woodland with the bbq provided .

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

Charming cosy cottage in beautiful countryside

This lovely spacious cottage is adjacent to the owner's house, set in 3 acres of gardens and beautiful countryside in the heart of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a great base for walking, cycling, touring, shopping, eating and drinking ...and curling up in front of the log fire. Sidbury village is a 20 min walk away. And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!

The Barn, West Ford Farm

The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign

Yew Tree Barn Musbury

Musbury is found in East Devon and a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The barn is located at the foot of Musbury Castle and on the East Devon Way. The barn is a 16th Century former dairy, 3 miles from Seaton and Axminister 7 miles from Lyme Regis. The barn has 2 bedrooms one shower room and a lounge/kitchen. Big comfy sofas and 1/3 acre of garden shared with the owner and his cocker spaniel Bailey. Additional single chair bed available for additional guest

The apartment at Ashton is situated in a newly-converted barn, attached to a thatched c.15th farmhouse. Surrounded by nature, peace and tranquility, this is a wonderful place to stay within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, for you to enjoy during your stay. The Cider Barn - a perfect place for two

Many years ago, this barn was used to press the apples from the farm's orchards to make cider. Now, thoughtful and creative restoration has turned it into a very special place for two, peacefully situated on our family-run organic dairy farm. Sitting high above the Culm Valley it has stunning views of our farm and the surrounding countryside and is perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful north & south coast, Dartmoor & Exmoor National Parks. Exeter 10 miles.
