These bird's distinctive calls can be heard in the early evening hours, a complimentary soundbite to the fresh mountain air. About 20 mi. from the Blue Ridge parkway, and looking out over + surrounded by Stone Mountain State Park and the Doughton Recreational area, this log cabin offers a peaceful getaway with ample access to the outdoors (including our own 18 acres).

Kelley Acres comprises 18 acres in Roaring River, NC. nestled within wine country, trout streams, hunting, rafting & golf, and 5 miles from Stone Mountain. Full kitchen, 2 baths,laundry, A/C, Gas fireplace, the Master cabin has a Queen Cedar log bed, Living Cabin has Queen AirSoft sleeper sofa "awesome sleep" and loft with 2 single beds and room for more. The "Midnight Moon" Cabin, State Road NC

Take it easy at our relaxing cabin while taking a step back in time. Located in State Road, NC, our cabin is made of 100-year-old logs by the one and only "Log Whisperer". The "Midnight Moon" is named after the black Quarter Horse "Moon" who joined his Mom in heaven in Dec. 2024. Spirit, our other black QH, remains at the cabin with his cow friends and new goat herd, who often graze the pastures surrounding our cabin. Relax by the fire or enjoy checkers on the porch, just soak it all in.
