Amakhaya by the sea is an entire self contained cottage with its own garden overlooking the shores of False Bay, with picturesque views, whales, penguins & seals it is the perfect place to unwind. Close by are the world renowned Boulder's Beach penguin colony; mountain climbing behind the cottage, access to deep sea fishing, diving and kayaking at Simon's Town Waterfront & Harbor; as well as scenic Cape Point Nature Reserve. Quaint coffee shops & restaurants line the streets of this historic Simon's Town.

Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

Protea Beach Cottage is a 3 min walk to the beach, with no main roads to cross, so ideal for families with small children. Sandy beach with some rocks but can swim at high tide. Wi-Fi. Bird's Nest - Epic Escape above False Bay

It is quite impossible to describe how special this place is. You can spend days here just watching the bay change, spot a whale or the dolphins&breathe in the view Cozy and warm in winter&airy in summer its the perfect hide away all year round. Behind you is just the mountain with fantastic walking trails but the centre with all its attractions is also only 30 min away. Under milkwoods

This house is built directly above a secluded beach in Gordon's Bay. It has five majestic milkwood trees and an indigenous garden. The sea is often calm and the sandy beach is suitable for children. There are rock pools and cormorants and seals in the bay. The harbour and the village are within walking distance. The house sleeps four people, but only one bedroom is fully enclosed; the rest of the house is open plan. Sam lives upstairs and will be there to welcome you on your arrival.
