Quiet, Safe, Comfy & Family Friendly Home in Gouldsboro Maine - a charming home nestled in the Maine woods🌲Located near the Schoodic Peninsula, this home was built and owned for over 25 years by a🦞fisherman & his wife! A great home base for outdoor enthusiasts with all of the comforts of home. Being a 1 hour drive to Bar Harbor, gives you a chance to enjoy the peace & quiet of Maine while on vacation but close enough to also enjoy Bar Harbor that is 40 miles, 15 mins to Acadia in Winter Harbor

The Cottage

A rustic cottage in the middle of Darthia Farm. The farm sits along the shore of West Bay and a short walking trail brings you from the cottage to the salt water. We grow organic mixed vegetables, herbs and flowers, raise sheep, ducks, chickens, pigs, and work with Haflinger horses. We have a farm store that is open everyday except Tuesdays and Sundays. The property is 15 minutes away from the Schoodic Section of Acadia and is surronded is by countless hiking trails and access to fresh water.

The Adventure House

The Adventure House was named by a family of houseguests with 3 fun and lively children who filled their time here with adventures at Acadia National Park and beyond! We are 10 minutes from the quiet side of the park and just under an hour to the busy side, both filled with scenic beauty! We have an added amenity for families traveling with extra family or friends. We're now offering a beautiful camper that comfortably sleeps 6 on the property available only for an extra charge after booking.

Located in a Dark Sky Zone, it's perfect for stargazing. Whether on the deck or under the stars, A by the bay is a peaceful haven for nature lovers. Welcome to Acadia.

Schoodic Loft Cabin "The Roost" with Kayaks

This playful cabin offers a unique spot to unwind and explore the Schoodic peninsula and Downeast Maine. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

The Cabins at Currier Landing, featured in Dwell as “Three Magical Tiny Cabins Take Root in a Maine Forest,” are located on the Thos. Currier Saltwater Farm. Glimpses of water & access to 300’ of the Benjamin River Harbor shore. 2 seasonal cabins; 1 studio cabin. Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula near Deer Isle, the cabins offer access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.
