Parking is available at the house. 300 meters from public transport - train and bus. In Gilleleje there are several restaurants, cafes and pizzerias. Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Max. 20 minute by car to several amazing nordsealand golf clubs. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Larger towns such as Hillerød and Helsingør both with historical castles and shopping . If you would like a nice day trip it is possible to take the ferry from Helsingør to Helsingborg in Sweden.

The old barbershop by the monastery

Esrum is a small quit village placed 50km outside Copenhagen. Esrum is beautiful situated next to one of Denmark greatest forest, Gribskov, and in working distance to Esrum Lake. Gribskov offers many outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and much more. Esrum monastery is placed 100meter from the house, and offers museum and different activities. In the daytime there are a Café serving light dishes. Nearest grocery store is in the next village, 3km away.

Anneks i Helsinge med udsigt til mark og skov

Denne naturperle ligger nord for Helsinge i Kongernes Nordsjælland med udsigt til åbne marker og skov. Der er 200 m. til skoven hvor der er gode chancer for at gå på svampejagt eller bare gå en tur i den dejlige natur. Det er meget almindeligt at skovens dyr går lige udenfor vinduerne. Det kan fx være rådyr, dådyr og krondyr. Du kan oplade din elbil hos os. Vi har særskilt elmåler, så der afregnes efter de dagspriser, der findes på andre offentlige ladestander.

Hornbæk - to minutter fra Hornbæk Plantage

Lejligheden ligger i et roligt villakvarter. Der er to minutters gang til Hornbæk Plantage. Det er en hundeskov og det tager kun 10 minutter, at gå ned til kysten. Hunde er velkomne, men vi er old school og accepterer ikke hunde i seng, stol, sofa og andre møbler. Din hund skal kunne sove på gulvet og vi stiller gerne en hundeseng til rådighed.
