Troutbeck Camping Pods - "No 1"

Our three warm and cosy pods are situated behind the main farm steading in a quiet setting away from the road and next to a small beck. The pods all have underfloor heating so you are guaranteed to be warm no matter the season. With excellent access from junction 36 of the M6, we are situated at the top of the beautiful Troutbeck Valley, with views down towards Windermere Lake. A traditional cosy Lakeland cottage, ideal for 3 to 4 people. Will suit both walkers and those wanting to relax around cafes. Facing onto the village green in the centre of Grasmere, it has fell views and plenty of walks right from the doorstep, including Helm Crag and the Fairfield round. The cottage offers king-size bedroom, double bedroom, lounge with comfy seating for four, full kitchen, bathroom, which is downstairs, and heated lobby drying room. Pass provided for 1 car on nearby car-park.

Camping pod in western lakes

Our cosy pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. Inside the pod is a double bed, a single futon mattress, kettle, toaster and oil filled radiator, carpeted floor, black out curtains. no bedding is supplied. The pod is small but cosy. The onsite games room provides extra space. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.

A cosy 2 bedroom home just 5 mins walk to the centre of Ambleside. Ideally located in the heart of the Lake District with some of the best walks that the area has to offer right from the door. Recently modernised and with all the home comforts you need for a perfect holiday. Ideal for couples, families or a group of friends. Just a 5 minute drive (1 mile walk) to the head of Lake Windermere with amazing views and boat trips. Small dogs are welcome with a maximum of two.

Yewbarrow - Shepherd's hut overlooking Wastwater

One of two traditional wooden shepherd's huts situated at the top of the beautiful Wasdale valley on a working Lakeland hill farm. Both huts have spectacular lake views over Wastwater and the surrounding fells and are the perfect bases for outdoor activities. Each hut comes complete with its own bathroom with shower, kitchen area and outdoor seating with BBQ. The shepherd's huts are brand new for summer 2022 and are currently being built from scratch here on the farm.
