We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowwoods. The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, Boschhoek+Gowrie golf courses, Clifton Notties Prep school and Michaelhouse. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a little farm, so expect a bit of ‘farm noise’ and general day-to-day goings on! Beautiful Breeze Cottage sits among the stunning hills of the Dargle Valley. It overlooks 3 tranquil dams, rolling pastures and an indigenous forest. There are cattle and horses in the fields, abundant bird life to enjoy and peacefulness to breath in. It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Located in a beautiful, secure estate next door to Hilton College with views over the Umgeni Valley. No stove, oven or TV - eat out & enjoy a break while you’re here! No braai facilities. Minimalist kitchen: microwave, bar fridge, kettle & toaster. Cutlery, plates, mugs and glasses for up to 4 guests.

Forest Falls Treehouse

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

360 at Mission House

This beautiful home is situated on a ridge with breathtaking 360* views of the Drakensberg Mountains and rolling hills of the midlands; a short distance from the N3, but set back from the road so it is peaceful and quiet. We are just 2km from some of the best MTB and running trails in the country, and perfectly located for the abundance of great restaurants, coffee shops and activities in the area for both adults and children. An ideal spot to retreat with family and friends, or get active.

Family Country Cottage near Nottingham Road

Paddocks Cottage on Newstead Farm nestles in the rolling hills near Nottingham Road. Here you can find dams for boating and bass fishing, a tennis court and 25ha of indigenous forest! This rural smallholding farm with Nguni Cows and retired horses has a significant history from the 1840's and gives you the chance to experience the true peace and tranquillity of the countryside, but yet is very central to top restaurants, golf courses, wedding venues and schools. The farm runs on solar power.

Vista Road Farm Cottage

Relax with the whole family on this working farm nestled in the bends of the Mooi River. Experience the peace of the meandering Mooi River, nature, livestock and overlook the quiet bustle of an active farmyard. Unfortunately due to ongoing biosecurity measures access to the dairy and cattle areas will not be allowed. The cottage is self catering, and close to Mooi River town for supplies or takeaways. There is 4km of rough dirt road to access the farm (high clearance vehicles recommended)

River Cottage

Tuck yourself away in the heart of the Karkloof valley. Feast your eyes on the beautiful view, watching the sunset over the river on your doorstep. Secure and serene, this little getaway is both convenient and tranquil. Neighbouring some of the best biking trails in the country and home to some beautiful walks and the well-known bird hides and the Karkloof Conservation Centre. Comfortable Self Catering Garden Cottage in an "English Country Garden". Located in Howick Village in the Natal Midlands, close to Midlands Meander, Midmar Dam, Berg wihin 40-70 minute drive and Beach approximatley 1 hr's drive. Karkloof Adventures, close by, including excellent Cycle Tracks! Cottage equipped with TV, Internet and wifi. Washing machine available for guest use. 2 Electric blankets available. Third bedroom in upstairs "open space".

Welcome to The Snuggery Cottage in the picturesque town of Howick, gateway to the KZN Midlands. eKuthuleni Glamping: Wooden cabin over the lake

Our wooden cabin over the lake offers a cozy and comfortable stay, with stunning views over the lake and the forests around the property. Enjoy the bird life of which there are a few species. You can enjoy the tranquility, or fish from the deck, or explore the nearby attractions. The cabin is self catering, semi off-grid equipped with a gas geyser supplying hot water to the shower, and we have an ensuite septic based toilet.
